It is always sad to see a business or any individual make a mockery out of something that is truly respected and looked upon with great admiration.
We have received disappointing comments by Lone Ranger fans that said they paid hard earned money while on vacation to see what they thought was to be a true to life looking Lone Ranger and Silver, but was nowhere close.
Bait and Switch?
Fans have contact us about pictures, banners and fliers depicting Clayton Moore as The Lone Ranger and Jay Silverheels, as Tonto, that have been promoted by 3 major tourists attractions charging you money to see their shoot out by which The Lone Ranger and Tonto apprehend the robbers.
These fans have told us these establishments used a poorly dressed, non authentic looking Lone Ranger. The horse Silver did not have a silver saddle and tack and was much smaller than the original Silver. They further stated that they would not recommend anyone seeing this show and would not return again.
Could this be known as a bait and switch? - Bait the adults and children by showing one thing to get them to buy tickets and then switch by giving them something that is not up to the caliber of the image, just for that green piece of paper called MONEY!
Before you go see a suppose to be Lone Ranger and Silver impersonator ask one simple question, "Is this the most authentic looking Lone Ranger and Silver in the Country which is from Maryland"?.
If they don't know or can not answer that one question, then check our event schedule to see if we have it scheduled, send us an email or call us. We have, acclaimed by the news media, "The only authentic looking Lone Ranger and Silver in the Country", a tribute performer doing shows across our great land, the USA.
We believe you should not pay and have presented to your kids or even to you an unprofessional or non-authentic looking Lone Ranger and Silver, not even for free.
The Lone Ranger image is not to be degraded, or presented below the standards of the true presentation that was given to us from 1933 thought 1958.
If you feel any business or anyone has presented anything less than an original looking Lone Ranger and Silver, complain to them and please let us know. After researching the establishment we feel it discredits The Lone Ranger we will make it known here on this fansite and place it in our newsletter to our fans.
We want to uphold the integrity of Clayton Moore and The Lone Ranger and of course his beautiful white horse, Silver.
